CodeRun – Full Featured Online IDE

I've recently started using CodeRun for quickly testing live code. It's a free full featured web-based IDE which you can use to develop applications or simply test code snippets. It also allows you to share working code with others to test and review. Here's the official description:

CodeRun Studio is a cross-platform Integrated Development Environment (IDE), designed for the cloud. It enables you to easily develop, debug and deploy web applications using your browser.

CodeRun supports popular languages including PHP, JavaScript, HTML, CSS, and C#. If you are a developer, you should check it out.

The ‘War’ on IE6

Recently I've been noticing a trend among Web developers to "take action" against MS Internet Explorer 6. From putting badges on their Twitter avatars to designing websites to detect and block IE6, many designers and developers are coming up with their own ideas to help end the browser's reign of terror. My question is, are some of these methods appropriate or even in their best interests?

About This Blog (WordPress)

Welcome to the UltraMega weblog, where various Web development related topics will be explored. This also includes insight to the various projects I work on. I hope to provide some useful information to the Internet community.

This blog is powered by WordPress, a very popular and powerful blogging platform. This is a fairly standard installation, with a modified template and some plugins for added functionality. One of the best thing about WP is its flexibility and strong plugin-writing community. There are virtually unlimited possibilities with what can be done with this free open source software! Everything is also so easy to install that anyone with an FTP client can do it.

Some examples of plugins that I have deployed here include: the All in One SEO Pack, which makes it easier for search engines to properly index the site; WP-Codebox, providing code syntax highlighting which is helpful for programming tutorials; Collapsible Archive Widget, which you can see on the right; and the Multi-page Toolkit, allowing pagination in posts. More may be added as needed.
