About UltraMega

Hey, I'm Steve, the guy behind UltraMega. I have always enjoyed designing and building websites. I started out creating simple websites as a hobby. Soon after that, I started experimenting with PHP scripting and reading various PHP tutorials. I learned most of what I know this way, and I still learn new things every day.

UltraMega Tech officially started in early 2008, when this website went up. It's a Web development service based in California, with an emphasis on PHP and AJAX programming. The goal is to keep things simple and easy/fun to use.

I also write about Web design and programming on the UltraMega Blog. I mostly write tutorials, so be sure to check that out if you are interested in learning about the subject. I try to post at least one useful post each week.

UltraMega currently maintains two of its own projects. Lock My Stuff allows you to securely encrypt text or files in order to safely send sensitive data over the Internet. TempServers, currently in beta, is an experimental service that provides game server hosting at an hourly rate.
