Coming Soon: TempServers – Hourly Game Server Rentals

It's been pretty quiet here lately, but that's about to change. Most of this time has been put into our latest project called TempServers, which will be opened to the public next week as part of the beta program. This public beta opens January 26th, at which time the service will be provided free of charge for a limited time!

TempServers will provide game server hosting for hourly rates instead of traditional monthly+ rates. If you need a game server only a few times a month, this will be a more cost effective plan since you only pay for the time you need. Our system is being designed from the ground up to give customers an easy-to-use interface while providing powerful options and control over the server. The game server reservation system allows you to book a time slot in advanced to ensure everything is ready for game time. Everything is completely automated, which means no delays in account setup after payment via PayPal is complete!

If you are interested in trying out this service for free, visit the website at www.tempservers.com starting January 26th to participate in the public beta. All we ask in return is your feedback to help us improve the service.

Upon launch, TempServers will offer the following games: Counter-Strike 1.6, Counter-Strike: Source, Day of Defeat 1.3, Day of Defeat: Source, Insurgency: Source, and Team Fortress 2. All servers will have 32 player slots where available (Team Fortress 2 only allows 24). The Server CP provides the ability to change configuration options, restart the server, or switch games on-the-fly!

We're hoping to provide a useful and unique service to the gaming community. Currently we are focusing on games supported by the Steam service, but we may expand into other online games in the future. Other plans include offering special configurations for official matches, and 3rd party custom addons. Stay tuned for more details!
